          Summary: CozyNCLEX Prep collects your email address to create an account and syncs your study    
  progress to the cloud so you can access it across devices. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address – Required to create and secure your account
Display name – Optional, used to personalize your experience
Authentication data – If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a unique identifier and email from those services

Study Data

We collect and sync the following study-related data:

Study progress and statistics (cards studied, accuracy rates)
Mastered cards and mastery streaks
XP, level, and achievements
Daily streaks and study goals
Quiz and test scores
Custom flashcards you create
Card notes and saved/flagged cards

Information We Do NOT Collect

Location data
Contacts or phone data
Health or biometric data
Payment information (handled entirely by Apple)
Browsing history outside the app

2. How We Use Your Information

Apple iCloud – Optional sync via CloudKit if enabled

Secure authentication via Supabase Auth
Row-level security policies on our database
Apple's built-in iOS security features

5. Your Rights and Choices

You Can:

Access your data – View your study statistics and progress in the app
Delete your account – Contact us to permanently delete your account and all associated data
Disable cloud sync – Use iCloud sync settings to control what syncs
Sign out – Sign out of your account at any time in Settings

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

CozyNCLEX Prep is intended for users who are at least 17 years old (nursing students and professionals). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the app or via email. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
